形態特徵

• Rather slender, prominently pubescent perennial herbs to 10 cm tall; stems prostrate, rooting at nodes.
• Leaves oblong-ovate to orbicular, 1–2 cm wide, apex obtuse or rounded, base abruptly truncate or slightly cordate, margins crenate, upper surface with long spreading hairs, lower surface appressed pilose along midrib and veins; petiole 5–25 mm long, pilose.
• Spikes terminal, peduncles slender, 1–6 cm long. Flowers subessile, crowded near apex of peduncles; bracts spatulate, 5–8 mm long, ciliate; calyx segments linear-lanceolate, 8–10 mm long, sparingly pilose; corolla 15 mm long, slightly puberulent externally, longer filaments ca. 2 mm long, slightly villous at base, shorter ones glabrous; anthers ca. 1 mm long; style somewhat villous.
• Capsule 7–8 mm long; seeds compressed, orbicular, ca. 1.5 mm in diameter, short pilose.

• 台灣 : on Lanyu Is.
• 世界 : The Philippines and the southern Ryukyus.
